Third country nationals who wish to submit a complaint, may do so in writing to the Aliens and Immigration Unit of the Police, where the complaint is sealed and subsequently submitted to the District Office of the Department of Labour Relations.


The District Labour Relations Office invites the two parties (employer-employee) to meet so as to examine the complaint. If the complaint is not resolved, a report is then prepared by a Labour Relations Inspector with a suggestion, which is sent to the Labour Disputes Committee for decision.

The Labour Disputes Committee is tripartite and is composed of an officer of the Department of Labour Relations of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, an officer of the Civil Registry and Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior and an officer of the Aliens and Immigration Department of the Police. The final decision is taken by the Act. Director of the Civil Registry and Migration Department and shall be notified in writing to the two parties.
