Under the Protection of Wages (Amendment) Law of 2022 the employer is obliged to make wage payments either through a deposit to a bank account or payment account of the employee's choice or through a bank check (issued by the employer in the name of the employee).


"Payment account" shall have the meaning defined in “The comparability of fees related to payment accounts, payment account switching and access to payment accounts Law of 2017” (L. 64(I)/2017).
