Staff Requirements




The Public Employment Services of the Department of Labour operate at central and district level, with four Labour Offices at the Districts of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos and 2 sub-offices at Paralimni and (once a week) at Polis Chrysochous.

At the District Labour Offices, employers are assisted, free of charge, in finding suitable personnel through the notification of their vacancies.

Employers can register their vacancies with any District Labour Office by:

1) Filling up the vacancy application form that they may obtain at the District Labour Office or download it here.

2) Notify the vacancy through the Internet-based vacancy system of the Public Employment Service (www.pescps.dl.mlsi.gov.cy)

During the notification of their vacancies, employers are asked to provide complete data related to their vacancies so as to facilitate the matching of their requirements with the qualifications of registered job seekers. In this way it is ensured that the most qualified candidates will be selected and submitted for interviewing by the employers.

All information provided by the employers in relation to their vacancies, is treated as strictly confidential and their names and addresses are given only to the selected job seekers.

It should be noted that:

· Employers who wish to notify a vacancy must be holders of the Employers’ Social Insurance Registration Number.
· Employers who wish their vacancies to be notified on the EURES website as well (with a view to employ job seekers from EU countries) should fill in the appropriate space of the vacancy application form mentioned above.
