Does the LPG installation on vehicles such as canteens, caravans or house trailers, needs a special license

Every new vehicle equipped with an LPG installation, before it is registered by the Department of Road Transport, the LPG installation must be examined by an Inspector of the Department of Labour Inspection. It should be noted that the LPG installation does not concern the propulsion of the vehicle (e.g. the use of LPG as a vehicle fuel). The examination is free of charge and includes a series of inspection on the safety of the installation. After the inspection and provided the LPG installation is deemed safe, a Certificate is issued which can be used by the vehicle owner for the registration of the said vehicle with the Department of Road Transport.
