Registration fees
European Regulation (EU) 864/2015 lays down the amounts, and rules for payment, of the fees and charges payable to the European Chemicals Agency pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH Regulation).
Table 2 (see below) of the above Regulation sets the reduced registration fees for Small and Medium size Enterprises (SMEs).
Before you declare your company as an SME please read the
Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC on SME definition. If you indicate in
REACH-IT your company as micro, small or medium-sized and therefore claim to be entitled to the SME fee reductions, ECHA may carry out the SME verification of your company at any time. More detailed information on the fees and on the effect of the REACH Regulation on SMEs is available

Data sharing fees
In addition to the registration fee, which is submitted to ECHA, each registrant
should also submit the data sharing fees, as these are agreed between the members of each
SIEF. These fees are different for each registered substance and they are usually some thousands Euros.
The implementing European Regulation
no 9/2016/EK defines more clearly what the terms ‘fair, transparent and non-discriminatory' mean for data sharing in the REACH Regulation. It also gives ECHA the mandate to make sure that all registrants of the same substance are part of one joint registration. The regulation is applicable as of 26 January 2016.
As a last resort, if you cannot agree on data and cost sharing with your co-registrants, ECHA can assess your case.
The data-sharing dispute procedure is free of charge and can be managed without legal support.
