The European Regulation 1272/2008 concerning Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation) entered into force on the 20
th of January 2009. This Regulation implements the provisions of the United Nations Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of chemicals (GHS ) into EU law.
