The European Regulation 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH Regulation) entered into force on
the 1st of June 2007. Through this Regulation it is anticipated that approximately 30,000 chemical substances will be examined and assessed by their producers or importers based on a procedure that will determine the risks on human health and the environment.
