The Department of Labour Relations is organized with a view to effectively responding to the role and duties, assigned to it.
In particular the Department's organization consists of the following sections:
i. | Terms of Employment in Private Sector Section |
ii. | Terms of Employment in Broad Public Sector, Tourism Industry, Legislation, European Union and International Bodies Section |
iii. | Trade Unions' Registrar Section and |
iv. | Gender Equality Unit |
The Department is also organized at district level, with the operation of District Labour Relations Offices, with main responsibilities the mediation in labour disputes,
the inspection of the implementation of labour legislation and investigation of employee complaints.
