The service right is charged by the employer to each client’s bill and then shared to the employees on a monthly basis according to their units and their occupation. The charge is 10% in catering establishments in general and 7% in establishments providing fast food services, or not providing catering services at all. The employer may deduct up to 5% for damages, from the total amount of the service right which is available to be shared.

Upon agreement between the two sides (employer and employee) there may be a guaranteed service right amount. The difference in this case, is that rather than 10% or 7% being calculated and shared between employees, a guaranteed unit amount is determined, which is fixed and paid with the monthly salary. However, the actual amount of the service right must be calculated at regular intervals and, if there is a positive difference with the guaranteed service right, this difference is paid to the employee.
