Yes, depending on the service in the industry. An employee with over 6 months of service is entitled to 15 days a year, while employees with over 3 years of service are entitled to 28 days a year.


The employer pays the difference between the sickness allowance of the Social Insurance Fund and the employees’ salary. However, the first 3 days of sick leave are unpaid.

It is noted that in case of sickness, the employee must inform the employer from the first day of illness or, in any case, as soon as possible.
