The minimum duration of parental leave use is one (1) day and the maximum duration is five (5) weeks per calendar year.
In order to take parental leave, the employee must give the employer a three (3) week notice before the intended starting date of the parental leave (except in case of emergency where, given the employer’s agreement, this period can be reduced).
