Shop owner means any natural or legal person who is responsible or to whom the shop belongs or employs staff and includes anyone who has control or responsibility for the management of a shop and/or authority to make decisions concerning the terms of employment of shop employees and their operation.


It is noted that the shop manager is not necessarily a shop owner. Therefore, whether a person is the shop owner or not has nothing to do with the premises but with the characteristics of her/his work.
