Department of Labour Relations

The Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, held an information campaign during 3 and 17 December 2018.

The aim of the campaign was to inform employees and employers that the 13th salary must be paid in case it is prescribed in a collective agreement, a personal contract or an employment agreement made upon employment or is an existing company practice.
Once the 13th salary is paid, even if it is not prescribed in a written agreement, then it is considered to be the company’s practice and consequently paid every year.
