According to the Factories Law, Cap. 134, as amended, the following machinery are considered inspectable machinery and must be inspected periodically, on predetermined time intervals:
- Lifts and Hoists,
- Chains, ropes and lifting tackle,
- Cranes, overhead travelling cranes and other lifting appliances,
- Steam boilers,
- Steam receivers, and
- Air receivers.
