Citizens of countries outside the European Union - Safety and Health issues with regard to their employment







During the application proceedings which are submitted by the Employers to the Department of Labour for the employment of Citizens of countries outside the European Union, the responsible Inspector of the Department of Labour Inspection may inspect the workplaces or the undertakings where these citizens are intended to be employed, with a view to ensure that the undertakings or the workplaces satisfy the minimum requirements for safety and health. The Department of Labour is informed of the results of the inspection.
