Safety and Health at Work
According to the Amendment Decrees No. 20 to No. 23 of 2022 “Determination of Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus”, all Guides for the management of the COVID-19 Pandemic are not enforced as from 6.6.2022.

With the current pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Cyprus, the reactivation of the majority of businesses and employees must take place in appropriate and controlled working conditions in order to eliminate or reduce as much as possible the risk of spread of the disease in the workers and society.

In the context of creating appropriate working conditions and environment, the Department of Labour Inspection, of the Ministry of Labour Welfare and Social Insurance, informs employers, employees, self-employed persons and others involved about their obligations as well as the measures to be taken under the Safety and Health at Work Legislation.

It is noted that these instructions are complementary and do not replace the obligations imposed by the Law on Infectious Diseases and the relevant Decrees issued or any others instructions given by other Authorities involved.
