We, at the HHIC, are aware that the interests of the Institute lie with the students themselves. This is why we are consistently trying to upgrade our educational standards combining learning with inspiration, and the drive for knowledge along with the delight derived from discovery and creation. The procedure of learning at HHIC goes beyond the limits of mere teaching, and combines theory and research with technical and industrial training respectively, as well as the development of hotel culture and professionalism.
Our main concern is the development of critical mind and creative imagination through innovating methods of acquiring knowledge, with the aim of preparing people willing to adapt to change. This is one of the greatest challenges for every educator and every educational establishment as, through it, virtues will be cultivated, the most valuable asset our society can offer: students and youth in general who constitute the concern of the present and the hope for the future.
Apart from the professional training, the HHIC educational system aims at developing critical mind and creative imagination, the understanding and consolidating of methods for the acquisition of knowledge, the use of sources of culture, and the development of abilities for the creation of new knowledge and its transmission to the society in general.
For this reason, the HHIC follows the international developments in the field of the hotel and Tourist Education in general, and having in mind the response to the needs of the economy and social necessities, the Institute adapts its educational programmes so that these comply with European and international standards.
