The Radiation Inspection and Control Service (RICS) of the Department of Labour Inspection (DLI) organized, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, in 12-16 March 2018, at the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration in Nicosia, a five-day educational programme aiming at members of the First Response Services of the Republic in the event of a nuclear or radiological accident or other incident. The programme is part of a series of education and training activities implemented by RICS/DLI for the services involved in the radiation emergency response mechanism under the Republic's National Action Plan ELECTRA.
