The Radiation Inspection and Control Service is responsible for maintaining, updating and upgrading the national inventories of sources of ionising radiation and of practices with ionising radiation that exist in Cyprus, as well as individual doses of workers exposed to ionising radiation.

The above inventories are kept in both paper and electronic form (i.e. in the RAIS (Regulatory Authority Information System) database) developed by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
