The Dangerous Substances legislation is fully harmonized with the relevant European legislation. It controls the imports, exports, placing on the market and use of dangerous chemical products. The term «chemical products» refers to chemical substances in pure form, to preparations (mixtures of chemical substances) and articles with intended release of chemical substances. Food products, medicinal products for humans and animals, feeding stuffs, cosmetics, radioactive materials and waste are exempted from the field of application of this law.
