DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR INSPECTION
The Department of Labour Inspection is operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
The Department comprises:
(a) the Safety and Health at Work Area, which includes the following Sections:
(i) Training and Raising Awareness Section,
(ii) Construction Section,
(iii) Manufacturing and Services Section,
(iv) Chemical Substances Section,
(b) the Machinery and Equipment Section,
(c) the Industrial Pollution Control Section,
(d) the Air Quality Section,
(e) the Radiation Protection Section.
The headquarters of the Department are situated in Nicosia whereas there are District Offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Ammochostos.
