DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR INSPECTION
The Department of Labour Inspection is operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
The Department comprises six sectors, namely
(a) the Field Operations Sector,
(b) the Safety and Health and Machinery Sector,
(c) the Industrial Pollution Control Sector,
(d) the Air Quality Sector,
(e) the Radiation Protection Sector
(f) the Chemical Substances Sector,
The headquarters of the Department are situated in Nicosia whereas there are District Offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca (serving also the Famagusta district) and Paphos.
