Making a success of a small business is demanding. Whether you’re running the business yourself, working for it, or doing both at once, you may think the last thing you need to worry about is safety and health. You may believe that it is something only big organisations need to consider.
But you’d be wrong - safety and health is everyone’s concern. It’s good for you and good for the business you work in. Having a healthy workplace is an integral part of a successful company’s ‘quality management agenda’.
Many small businesses in the European Union have already discovered that placing safety and health at the heart of their workplace enables employers and employees to achieve better results for themselves, their businesses and their customers.
The Healthy Workplace Initiative has been set up by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work to provide employers and employees with easy access to quality information about how to make your business stronger, healthier and more productive.
We’d like to tell you more at our next Healthy Workplace Seminar, to be held at Hilton Park Hotel on Thursday 26th of April 2007 from 09:00 - 13:00.
It will be an opportunity to learn how paying more attention to safety and health can improve the productivity of your business and the quality of your products, benefit your staff, and even ensure your customers keep coming back.
